The actor Mrunal Thakur recently revealed that even celebrities experience moments of vulnerability. She posted a raw photo of herself in tears on her Instagram Stories, leading to a candid conversation.

Mrunal also bravely addressed the issue of body shaming, vowing to challenge prevailing beauty standards as she reflected on days when getting out of bed was an arduous task.

Mrunal discussed how many people on the internet pretend to have perfect lives in her interview with Humans of Bombay.

“There were days when I didn’t want to wake up, I didn’t want to get out of my bed, but I did. Not for others, but for myself. It’s okay to feel low one day, two days, three days, weeks, months, and nobody’s going to care except for your family. So I feel it’s so important to remind ourselves that there will be good days despite the bad days. “So that is just like proof that there are days when you do not feel okay,” she said.

Also, Mrunal spoke about body positivity and said, “I intend to change that beauty standard by flaunting my curves. When I was a kid, I was afraid to wear anything body-hugging. But now I’m like, ‘Body-hugging is cool. And crop tops are cool. Why do we need Kardashians to set beauty standards? Indian women walking the streets are so curvaceous, so beautiful.”
