Vivo V30e
Scheduled for May 2, Vivo is set to unveil the V30e, promising significant upgrades over its predecessor, the V29e.
The anticipated Vivo V30e is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The device will likely house a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP main sensor (featuring the Sony IMX882 sensor) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, complemented by an LED flash. Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel 8a at its upcoming I/O 2024 event on May 14.
Rumored specifications suggest a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device could come equipped with 8GB of RAM, a dual-camera setup on the rear featuring a 64MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide angle sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies, it might offer a 13MP front camera. With regards to durability, similar to the premium Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, the Pixel 8a may feature a metal-based frame and carry an IP67 rating, making it resistant to water damage up to a depth of 1 meter for approximately 30 minutes.
Considering the pricing trend of previous Pixel A series phones, the Pixel 8a is expected to be priced around Rs 45,000. However, if assembled locally in India, it could be priced lower. Google has announced the commencement of local production of Pixel phones in South India in the second quarter of 2024, indicating that the Pixel 8a may also be manufactured in India.
